The Fall D-School should be in Mumbai, India now...the Backpackers finished their time in Mongolia, and the few of us left in Idaho are busy finishing up work before Christmas break.
This time of year 20 degrees is considered a heat-wave, and my nose-hairs freeze just walking across the street to the office...such an odd experience...the sun doesn't come up till almost 8am, so we get to sleep in, if the kiddos follow the rule "stay in your own bed till the sun comes up."
This morning (after cuddle time with the twins), I joined the family downstairs for breakfast and Wes asked, "can I give you a kiss before you go to Africa?"
Me: "I'm not going to Africa."
Wes: "Where you is going?"
Me: "Just the office."
Wes: "But you is going to Rica."
Me: "Yes, I am going to Costa Rica and you can give me a kiss before I go."
The other events of this morning included taking a shower at the office, because ours is frozen. Then after I up-dated our base mailing list, the parents went to the office to work, and I am now practicing for parent-hood - ie supervising the twins, bouncing the baby, and typing with one hand...we'll see what excitement the rest of the day holds...
