Flowers

The Backpackers D-School is all guys, therefore I did not go hiking with them this week. Something about spending a week in the cold mountains with 5 guys, just does not sound fun...although they are cool guys.

Even though Rebecca (the cook the song leader) and me (the registrar and secretary) did not go hiking with the guys, they are still convinced that we do all the real work, and the guy staff just have fun. So before they left on their hiking trip, they showed their appreciation for us by giving us flowers.
I feel appreciated :)

I've come a long way when it comes to flowers. In general, I tended to better appreciate practical gifts. My friends joke about a man wooing me with gifts of office supplies, but that's so un-romantic. I like the flowers, and I will enjoy them while they last. I don't have a vase here in Idaho, so Carrie split the flowers into 2 of her little vases, so we can enjoy the beautiful flowers on my desk at work, and at our house.
