Boise Trips...

Yesterday was exciting. Office work in the morning, and then off to Boise to buy supplies and groceries for the D-school (3 weeks worth of food for 6 people), and my stuff, and Matt's groceries.

Steve and I are BAD at grocery shopping, especially when the list is in no order AT ALL. We walked many laps around Winco. I really appreciate my mom's grocery shopping list which always had items listed in the order you will find them as you walk through Aldi's. I also like that Aldi's doesn't have 25 brands of toilet paper...good grief.

That's why I hate Boise trips so much. 2 hour drive, then going to Lowes, REI,WalMart, the Dollar Store, Costco, and Winco. On the bight side, no one called and asked us to get "just 1 more thing" - that's because Steve's phone was off, and no one knows my new # :)


After that ordeal, we drove 2 hours back to Cascade, and dumped the stuff at the River House (in the fridge, freezer and all over the table and counter). We arrived home at 11pm, after spending 10 hours on a grocery shopping trip...after working all morning at the office.
