Funniest Thing Ever!

One day, I went downstairs to refill my water bottle. Halfway down the stairs I stopped, because someone had left the gate open and a big white cow came from the direction of our kitchen, walked across the entry way/garage, and out the open gate. 


Yes, there was a cow in our house, and we have no idea how long it was in there. As the cow left, Laura's Hindi tutor came in. He seemed un-phased by the cow. 


As I finshed coming down the stairs and walked toward the kitchen, one of our hosts was coming down the ladder from the room over the kitchen. He was making funny sounds (like he always does) "huh? uh? ah? what?" and looking a the pile of mushy poop on the floor by the sink. I told him there was a cow in the house. What else could I say? Life in India is a little odd sometimes...
