My toddler-sized alarm clocks didn't go off till 8am. It was amazing! Granted they did go to bed kind of late last night.
I took Wesley down stairs to go potty with Daddy's supervision, and then went to cuddle with Isaac, since he was just waking up. This strategy makes sense at 6am when Joe is in he garage doing P90X. I give Wes to Carrie, and then keep Isaac in his bed, so we all get a little more sleep. At 8 am it's kind of pointless, but it helps me wake up slowly, and is probably better than just going back to bed. At least I'm being helpful while I'm being lazy...
Wes came back upstairs, and wanted to join cuddle time. "I'm trying to sleeeeeppppp!" Isaac complained, "Wesley, you can't wake me uppppp!"
I slide Isaac over to the wall, so there was room for Wes on the other side of me.
Isaac "I 'quished"
Wesley "I can't 'coot over"
Wesley "your dad said no"
Me "wouldn't that be your dad too?"
Wesley, "No. Your dad"
Me "my dad?"
Isaac "you don't have a dad"
Me "yes I do" (wow, I sound just like a 2 year old)
Isaac "was his name?"
Me "Bob"
Wesley "like Bob the builder"
Isaac "you has a grandpa?"
Me "yes"
Wesley "you has a Katie?"
Me "No. Can I share your Auntie Katie?"
Isaac, "No-oo, 'cuz then we won't has a Katie"
I never realized my life was so incomplete, but I have no way of acquiring an Auntie Katie...
