I really like people. They are fun to talk to and hang out with. There's people everywhere! It's great! Although I guess there are no people on a deserted island, but I'm not there either, so I don't really care.
The past 7 weeks I've enjoyed getting to know people in Idaho. I go to the post office and bank almost daily, so I'm glad the people who work there are so nice, and fun to joke around with :). When I officially became a member of the church I was congratulated and welcomed by like a million people - ok, just 200, but that's nearly 1/5 the population of town...and a few of the ladies treated me to lunch too. That was fun. Then there's the cop who is always driving around during youth group and wondering what crazy game we are playing (trying to drain the Jr Higher's energy so maybe they'll pay attention during the teaching time). There's only a few of us young adults in Cascade, and we get together and pick on each other mercilessly - I mean, study the Word...
Now I'm in PA at my mom's new house, looking at my college yearbooks and remembering fun times. I miss my classmates, roommates, hall mates, co-workers, and especially my group from "Cults and World Religions" and our amazing presentations on Hinduism and JWism...how I wish I had those videos...
Tomorrow I begin the road trip up to NY, visiting some family and friends on the way. Then I'll spend a week driving in circles to all the neighboring towns, and all the way to Buffalo to visit friends I haven't seen in 5 years?? And then there is Leadership Conference, so I'll a bunch more people who I haven't seen forever! I'm so excited to see people!!!
