Saturday was Republic Day - it's kind of like our Independence Day, but not because India has it's own Independence Day sometime in the summer.
We had a program at our house, with some local people. They raised the flag and sung their country's song, an Indian shared from the Word, some Indian friends led songs and we did our thing.
4 of us sang "Shout to the Lord" and did sign language (Fumi taught us the sign language on Tuesday). We also did our Dramas, and us girls wore our Sarees.
In the afternoon we cooked lots of food and fed dinner to the slum.
