The events of this past week

We have had a hard time getting in to any schools, because in the past years the teams have been kicked out for being too strong on the Father's message. That's a good reason to get kicked out.

Last Thurs we were supposed to go to a school, but they canceled. They were in the middle of finals, which is a lot of work for the students. I feel very bad for them. We would have had a hard time doing our Drama anyway, because the guy who plays the Father had to have a surgery because (as someone said) "a cyst exploded on his shoulder." He's fine now. Our team went on a "talk to the Father" walk (or drive) that day instead.

Sunday Alissa's half of the team (team 1) shared stories and songs with the neighborhood kids. My half of the team (Team 2) went to a church. Originally we were going to do a drama, testimonies, and Fumi was going to share about the Father. Then Fumi spent all day Saturday throwing up, and I was not quite as ill, as I only had diarreah and slept most of the day. Neither of us went anywhere on Sunday, and our team ended up going to a different church. Our Indian host shared about the Father, and the team couldn't do the drama, because they forgot to bring the music. It was a challening day...but normal...

Tuesday, we actually did something!!! Our team spent the weekend writing a holiday play. On Tues we went to the Mother Theresa School, which has 1855 students. That's a lot of people. We did the play, sang/acted out the 12 days of Christmas, and did the King of Hearts drama. The school fed us breakfast and lunch, which was spicey.

Thursday we were supposed to go to another school, and do an hour long presentation. So we spent Wednesday practicing all 3 of our dramas and people prepared things to share about what Christmas means to us. Wed, late in the afternoon, we discoved that the school forgot we were coming, so they only had 15 mins for us to perform (these things happen all the time in India). So we cut our plan down to just the Christmas play, Liquid and 1 person sharing. And that is what we did. Then the students at the school sang songs and did dances. They had extra time, so they asked us if we had more to do (welcome to life in India). So someone shared and we sang a couple Christmas songs. All went well.

And my stomach is incredibly un-happy again, none-the-less I continue eating our meals of rice and veggies. It has the most unpleasent results. So I got smart and took anti-dirrhea pills, and bought some cheese. Thus far, it hasn't helped... I feel fine, but aparently I'm not. I thought maybe it would help if I stopped drinking Chai everyday. Then I started getting headaches, from the caffine withdraw. Aparently I am addicted to Chai...oh well...
