The Sent Ones

The past few weeks have been great - connecting with friends and saying, "good-bye."

On the East Coast we shared at my home church and a friend's church and they prayed for us. Back in Colorado we were prayed out at our Church, and the Y-office, and some friends at the Jericho Center (kind of like IHOP).

I feel very sent...so now we shall go!!

Tomorrow morning we fly out of Denver to NJ and from there, a 14 hour flight to Delhi. We'll spend a few days in Delhi and meet up with J (from Idaho) and meet his wife B. Then we'll take a train to Varanasi. The group of back-packers from Idaho will arrive shortly after us, so it will be fun to see them.

We've been blessed with a lot of special gifts towards our trip - covering the cost of the "School of Hindu Studies" which is 3 months of language/culture training. We've got it all set up to stay at a Guest House (like a cheap hotel) for $100 a month, so we'll have a bedroom and bathroom, with A/C and there's a generator...sounds pretty luxurious to me :)
