Today I saw a friend I hadn't seen in 6 years. It's weird to remember back when I was in high school, and babysitting for various families at Elim. Getting close to them, and then every year saying good bye to someone, wondering if I'd ever see them again.
Seeing them again is great!!! Although it is crazy how much happens in 6 years. Some of the changes are pretty lame, but overall I'd say life is better now than ever before :). I also realized how much I have changed and grown since high-school.
Although it's crazy that my little friends are growing up and going to school, and unavailable to meet me for a lunch-date...but it was great to see Kristy (aka Chloe's mom), and I guess an 8 year old isn't going to remember that girl who babysat her when she was a baby...
For some reason once I do see someone again, instead of saying "bye", it becomes "see you later" even if that might mean another 6 years...but I hope it's not that long...
