Working at a coffee shop

Duane once asked me, "do you like working at a coffee shop?" I was confused by this question because I have never worked at a coffee shop, and don't even really know how to make coffee, so it's hard to say if I would like working at a coffee shop. On top of that, why would he be asking me this question, anyway?

Then it he clarified, "do you like taking our computers to a coffee shop to do our work?" Apparently that's what a lot of people do, because there were a bunch of them just sitting there working on their computers. We work at a couple different local coffee shops. They are closer than the real office, and seeing as how everyone else is away right now, there's really no point in driving all the way up there to sit in an empty office building.

This week, at the coffee shop, we made really sweet brochures for the Northern India Initiative as well as business cards. While we were at it, we ordered our wedding invitations, because we might as well get all these things shipped together. Also our mailing lists are more up-to-date. Although, it is rather annoying how time-consuming these things can be.

In more exciting news, we are planning on doing lots of local support-raising this coming month, which means I get to meet lots of Duane's friends, and he has lots. Then we get to give them our really cool brochures. We will also use the brochures when we meet/network with local organizations who do ministry in India.
