Day 7: Just Keep Going

Today was spent in the car. This morning we drove through the beautiful mountains of Northern California...it was breath-taking!!! We even saw Heaven - a mountain floating in the clouds
We had a picnic lunch at a nice little rest stop off I5, and enjoyed our ever multiplying food. We have been blessed...
In spite of my cold which keeps getting worse, I had been lovin' this road trip. Although today I was drugged with dayquil, but still felt like my head might explode...but I felt great as long as I was sleeping...I had planned to just keeping going until I crashed, because I don't want to miss any part of this Faith Adventure.

Then we arrived at the campus in San Fran around 7pm...only 3 hours later than planned, due to never-ending traffic on the bridge.
I had heard the base is in the worst part of the city, and when they said there were homeless people sleeping on the doorstep, they weren't kidding.
(Thank you Jesus for calling me to work in the beautiful mountains of Idaho)

We unloaded our stuff and carried it down to the dungeon-like basement and into our room with a bunch of prison-like bunks. I promptly burst into tears...I am so done with this. Can we go home now? It's a little over-dramatic, but that's pretty much how I feel about life right now...so I'm just going to take my NyQuil and go sleep in my cage...

I'm curious, is that a real mountain in the picture or did the clouds just form it? 'Cuz I don't see a bottom-side to the mountain below the clouds and I can't figure it out. Real, or not? It's def cool "artwork" if the clouds made it, because it looks like it has more colors then I thought clouds could do!

Is there any way I can get a big copy of that mountain picture for my computer desktop?
