For our event on Wednesday, half of the group went down-town, played music, sang, played hacky, and talked to people. I haven't heard a whole lot about what they did, probably because they didn't want to make the rest of us to jealous. Because the other half of our class went to Casa Viva and washed windows. Not especially exciting, but I did enjoy listening to country music on my MP3 player :)
"Our" foster kids started school this week, so their families were busy with that, and they couldn't come to Casa Viva to hang out with us and each other :(
While we washed windows, we enjoyed the nice view of the valley...
Doing the outside of the windows was especially interesting and challenging. It's nice the bars are there for climbing and to hold on to, but it does make it difficult to clean the actual windows...
We also enjoyed a nice snack break. Since there was only 5 of us at Casa Viva, we got to eat more cookies than we can when all 13 of us are there...
