Pune Bombing

Last week there was a bomb blast at a German Bakery in Pune, India. 9 people were killed, 4 of those were not Indian, as the bakery is a popular place for tourists. The USA is concerned about the effect this will have on talks between India and Pakistan which are to take place on Feb 25. There is also the question of if this is linked to the 11/26/08 bombing in Mumbai.


As I am preparing to go to India, hearing about a bombing is concerning. It seems to happen at least once a year, although this is the first one I have heard about since November 2008. I know I am called to go to India, so another bomb is not going to change that.
