I am not homeless! There is a house which is for sale, but in the meantime we gets to use it as housing for the girl staff…also known as me and Tiffany…
It’s a 3 bedroom house (double-wide trailer)....it seems huge because you could fit an entire Indian house in the master bathroom and walk in closet...instead that whole area is Tiffany's, along with the master bed-room...I have a room at the opposite end of the house. It is bigger than any bedroom I’ve ever had. I began by re-arranging the room (ie moved the bed to a different wall).
Within 24 hours of my arrival at the house, I finished un-packing and organizing my possessions. It didn’t take very long, either because my stuff was already super-organized or maybe just because I don’t have very much stuff…
It seems that all my co-workers have disappeared, or are in the process of doing so...
Some are leading the group in India, or staffing the Pioneering School in Vnsi, others are visiting friends and family, raising support, attending other training schools or seminars. Tiff and Troy are leaving soon too...once they train me to do their jobs...
When Tiffany leaves I’m going to be home alone for awhile. That’s depressing, especially compared to living in India and having no personal space. However it will be nice to have some time to think, process, adjust to reverse-culture-shock, and talk to the Father about what I am doing with the rest of my life.
I also have plenty of work to keep me busy…writting the base newsletter, taking over the D-school registrar job, and while Troy is away, I'll be doing some of the accounting work. H.F. asked me to continue working in the profiles for the C.P.s in India (we started that project while inIndia ). It's rather over-whelming to think about all that right now...
Personally, I need to pay my taxes, write a newsletter, start doing Rosetta stone Hindi, organize my photos, up-load them to facebook, make a scrapbook, plan a trip to NY + PA, and a bunch of other things I’ve probably forgotten about...

Life is good! I have an amazing job which I love (but don’t get paid for), a house with a great view of the river, and car that I didn’t have to buy. It’s like the American dream only better! I will enjoy it while I am here, but all the while looking forward to the day when I can live the India dream!
