Culture of the Word

The Word makes so much more sense in India. Things like "Go into the village ahead of you. At once you will find a donkey tied up and a colt with it. Untie them, and bring them to me.” Yep, there’s a donkey just chillin' by the side of the road…


Or when it talks about repairing the walls and the gates to the city. A-bad had several gates and a broken wall which used to surround the city, but now the city has grown beyond that wall, but the roads still go through the gates.

Or washing your feet when you entered a house. We leave our shoes at the door, because the roads are crappy...literally…So it is usually a good idea to wash the days dust and dirt off ones feet.


You know how the Words talks about the crowds that followed Him and Him asking “who touched me?” Yep…although they mostly just crowd around us because we are white…and we have 2 adorable little blond boys with us…
